     Welcome to Marengo Christian,  Here we believe that every bit of the Bible is true today as it was then.  From "In the beginning" in Genesis to "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen." in Revelation every word is Truth, every word is the inherent word of God.  We take nothing away and we add nothing to.  We do not  try to interpret the Bible as we believe it needs no interpretation.  Whether the message is on "hot button" topics such Abortion, or Homosexuality or on any number of other things the Bible clearly says what it means and means what it says and we will teach nothing different, we will not sugar coat the message or tickle your ears. 

If you are looking for a theme park church that reads from a comic book bible we are not it.  With that said you will find us to be a progressive church although not progressive in a way that some think we should be.  A church should be able to minister to its local community in a way that the community can associate with..  We believe that there is a ministry opportunity in Morrow County to those who enjoy the shooting sports in addition to hunting and fishing the great outdoors that God has provided us with. 

     We believe this is an opportunity that has been missed, up until now that is.  Here at MCC you will find a church willing to do what it takes to minister to others.  Our congregation is blessed with people who along with their family's enjoy the outdoors.  We have a preacher who is an avid outdoorsman and hunter education instructor, an elder who is involved with 4H Shooting Sports and is a NRA certified conceal carry instructor, a deacon who loves the outdoors and works for Ohio's Division of Wildlife.

     It only makes sense to have a church that is willing to do what it takes to reach out to those who love the outdoors as well.  So in our website you will find information of some things that we are very excited about concerning how we plan on reaching out.  Please check our section on shooting sports as we will have more information coming on this exciting ministry opportunity.
